About Jonathan Somma

As a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium, I supervise the floor, provide assistance to students and parents, and curate weekly educational material based on student academic levels. I enjoy applying my passion for aiding others and learning to help teach students understand the material. I am also finishing a Master of Science in Leadership (MSL) at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where I am learning what it takes to become a successful leader in today's world. I have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and sports management, and I aspire to become a General Manager in the NFL. Through my MSL program, I am developing my communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking abilities, which I believe are essential for any leader. In addition, I have gained valuable experience in the sports industry by interning with the FIU Football Equipment Team and working with the UCF Football Equipment Department. I have also honed my writing and social media skills by serving as a content writer for a University of Miami football website, State of The U, where I published over 20 articles and was featured on Bleacher Report. These opportunities have allowed me to get a different perspective of the sport, connect with athletes and coaches, and showcase my creativity and enthusiasm.
