About Jonathan Steels

Proven track record leading development and implementation of new initiatives and corresponding change management processes at an institutional level. I facilitate the formation of strategic partnerships. I have played a central leadership role in the development of a new building project at Trinity College, the Lawson Centre for Sustainability, at a major inflection point in the College's history. I am particularly interested in sustainable food systems and urban agriculture within the public sector; I am most familiar with the higher education sector. For 15+ years I have been immersed highly strategic, collaborative and high-impact transformative work at Trinity College, often in coordination with the larger University of Toronto – it's this complex, cross-disciplinary, institutional-level work that I love, particularly as it relates to Sustainability. I am a strategic, integrative thinker with a robust academic and professional background of applied experience.
