About Jonathan Steinberg

I am a firm believer that all managerial decisions should be supported by data. As an AI & Data Consultant at EY with a major in Business Analytics, I have gained a deep understanding of how raw data can be transformed into actionable insights, and I am eager to help businesses leverage their data to drive their success. Outside of work, I enjoy engaging in personal data-related projects that challenge my capabilities. Being an avid sports player and fan, many of these projects fall in the realm of sports analytics: I have built a model to predict whether an opposing team will pass or run the ball in the NFL, and a model that optimizes daily fantasy football lineups. Above and beyond my projects, I strive to instill my passion for analytics in my peers. As Co-President of McGill Data Network, I organized various events to increase students’ domain knowledge and improve their programming skills. Ultimately, I believe that the more people understand data, the stronger our business world will be.
