About Jonathan Tan

In retrospect, my interest in logistics and supply chain was already partially realized in my teenage years where I would consistently help out in my CCA as part of the logistics team. As I did not know better then, I chose to pursue nursing as a profession. However, in conversations with friends and family and in the articles or topics that I read online, I discovered the topic which most fascinated me was the logistics industry. Thus, although I was already settled comfortably in my job with a strong network of support from my colleagues, I chose to pursue a degree in logistics and supply-chain management. By nature, I am a responsible and diligent individual who is willing to learn. I tend to be an objective, goal-driven person but my time in nursing has also taught me valuable lessons in managing people and tempering my expectations in order to accomplish the goal as a team. I am able to function effectively under pressure.
