About Jonathan Thompson

My entire career started because I liked using Microsoft Excel. Spreadsheets felt like a customizable calculator - unlimited possibilities. Well, until you hit one million rows or at least at the time I started using the program. Then relational databases. Then data lakes with unstructured data. That led me to R Programming and that is when I realized I wanted to move upstream and proactively solve problems using data. I turned to product management as I enjoy working with people. I help users through my daily contributions. My background kept me around data-centric products. I also strongly support and believe the notion that businesses can outperform their competitors simply using data. I am now at Cubic and enjoy working in public transportation.
