Background

About Jonathan Turnbull

As a teacher with nearly 6 years of experience, I am incredibly skilled in the production and communication of various ideas, through written, verbal and creative means. Attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively have been integral tools in guiding me through my career so far. Such skills are further enhanced by my flexibility, with experience teaching English, Art, History and Art History as wel as Tour Managing across Italy. I have had to be adaptable, research, manage my time and be critical of written work whilst also producing my own in order to captivate my audience. My philosophy has always been to use pertinent analogies and a ‘fun’ atmosphere to facilitate understanding, through inventive and well planned lessons and tours, from adults or pentioners to young children, Italians to British teenagers. I therefore have a proven track record of success. More recently, I have also began copy editing various texts which have been published online. The aforementioned, as well as my creativity and ability to market my lessons online to obtaing private students, are all characteristics synonymous with other professional fields.
