About Jonathan Vear

Jonathan is an experienced chief financial officer with extensive general management, strategic and operational experience and significant international experience across APAC. He has key skills in developing and implementing strategies, best practice financial processes and driving change within businesses, whilst providing stewardship and financial leadership for the business. He has a proven track record of building teams to support the business needs, managing strategic change in complex businesses and with extensive financial management experience in manufacturing, trading, importing & exporting, distribution and international trade environments, and understands the drivers to help ensure the cost competitiveness of end products. His broad experience includes different manufacturing environments, including B2B and FMCG, servicing diverse industry segments from food and beverage, household goods through to packaging and OEM customers, with medium and large-scale businesses. He has been actively involved in a range of acquisitions, mergers, divestments and JV's and investment strategies. Jonathan has been actively involved in the management and oversight of businesses across APAC as a director in companies in China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. Jonathan also has hands-on, day-to-day accounting experience undertaking all accounting tasks to support businesses during staff absences both in Australia and across APAC.
