About Jonathan Velasquez

I’m an ecommerce leader with 10+ years of experience helping brands grow through thoughtful merchandising, smart content, and a constant focus on the customer. I’ve worked across lifestyle, fashion, and performance brands like 5.11 Tactical, Element Skateboards, and VonZipper by building digital experiences that connect brand vision to measurable results. At 5.11 Tactical, I led GTM content strategy and personalization across Magento and Dynamic Yield which helped drive strong YoY growth and lift conversion through smarter, more relevant experiences. I’ve managed massive product catalogs (500K+ UPCs), built AI-forward SEO strategies, and supported full-funnel campaign execution across teams.Earlier in my career, I got hands-on with content and merchandising at SWELL.com, then moved into paid media and multi-brand ecommerce management roles at agencies and Boardriders. That mix of creative and performance background gives me a practical, balanced approach to ecommerce and my work shows I care just as much about the customer journey as I do the revenue chart.Always learning, always iterating. Let’s connect if you're working on something meaningful in ecommerce, digital retail or AI.
