About Jonathan Walker

Experienced plasma source, vacuum systems, semiconductor flow devices and pulsed power engineer. Currently, I lead a small dedicated team researching and developing new compact high power microwave technologies. I have worked in all three stages of the product development cycle. In R&D, I designed and worked on a wide range of electric propulsion and plasma devices ranging from the hundred watt to the gigawatt power level. In product industrialization, I lead teams to develop, industrialize, and manufacture advanced gas distributors and multifunction hardware that are at the core of current generation EUV sources and next generation high NA EUV sources. In product sustainment, I have supported customer escalations ranging from quick troubleshoots to XLD events as well as product refurbishment planning. I am experienced at leading both fast-paced small teams in R&D as well as medium sized cross-functional teams within a large product development environment. I am a skilled electric propulsion engineer, and flow systems architect, and pulsed power engineer with a Ph. D. in spacecraft electric propulsion from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
