About Jonathan Watkiss

As Transformation Leader, Interim Director or Managing Consultant, I help organisations analyse, design and deliver sustainable transformational change My USP: I bring unique insight of leading change from a mixture of senior roles in leadership, consulting and as a board level interim – I bring over 30 years of 'battle scars', a broad toolkit, empathy, pragmatism, and a sense for what works in differing situations. I focus in the following 4 of my experience areas, and across multiple sectors: BOARD LEVEL TRANSFORMATION LEADERSHIP: I design and lead complex change programmes of board level significance, usually cross-functional, across people/organisation/process/systems and frequently multi-site/ international. I also design and set up/ run ‘proactive & supportive’ PMOs to underpin the success of complex programmes. INDEPENDENT CONSULTING: I provide business analysis/ diagnosis, programme design and change implementation support/ leadership. I work directly to clients or as an associate with a small number of leading consulting firms. I work across all aspects of change delivery including in Strategy-led Organisation design & delivery. COACHING & SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: I work with senior executives and teams to help them build personal skills, methodologies and strategies to underpin the success of their vital change programmes. INTERIM MD/CTO: Filling a critical skills or hiring gap – adept at quickly understanding the context/ brief & building relationships/ teams - to make maximum short term financial improvement impact, or to provide steady (or protective, steady hands) continuity whilst recruiting the permanent.
