About Jonathan Weisel

Ive been working since I was 14, starting with the typical fast food jobs most young teens get. Worked throughout high school, balancing school and work until i graduated. Attempted the college route, but after a few semesters in college, the school I was studying changed its student aid policies, and I no longer qualified; so I was unable to continue. I joined the Army active duty soon after and spent just a few months shy of 6 years working as a 25U Signal soldier, retrans operator, assisting the 18th FA artillery brigade setup radio communications, and data communications for long distance firing missions. I enjoyed my time in the military, and will continue my military career in the Nation Guard, reclassifying as a 68X for behavioral health. In my time as a Soldier I grew as a person from a sheltered small town i grew up in and made life long friends and mentors. I have always had a strong work ethic, and I can proudly claim any supervisor I have worked for has considered me one of, if not, their best soldier from a technically proficient perspective. Although I was not fortunate enough to achieve the ranks of NCO, I have served approximately 2 years of my career operating as a supervisor and mentor to new soldiers; responsible for their well being and technical training.
