About Jonathan Wess

I am an operator, customer success professional, and entrepreneur who likes to challenge limits. You will never know the answer unless you ask the question. I believe that there is a way to accomplish every goal by simply asking the questions; why might it not work and how do we change those failing factors? Now that you heard the synopsis of who I am, let me tell you how I got here. When I was young I played businessman, yes, while everyone else played with their toys I was playing businessman pretending to buy and sell companies. I still have a pretend check, I made when I was 7, selling my toy company for dollars to someone named Jeff. I went through high school preparing to be an architect, but after doing DECA, I fell in love with business and politics again. I chose to go to Canisius College for Entrepreneurship and Political Science. Since freshman year of high school, I have had many different leadership positions, from Lighting Operations Director to being a board member, to V.P. of youth entrepreneurship to Executive Director. I even dipped my toes in politics, being a leader on a NYS Senate campaign and working with constituents at Senator Gillibrand's Office. I enjoyed every minute of getting the professional experience I have. Throughout all of this, I would help friends start businesses, consult on others, and help develop nationwide organizations. So I decided to start my own business which combined my two loves, helping people and entrepreneurship, this business was TimeCapsuleFC. After college, I have spent time working with minority-owned businesses and business owners who don't have a business background. The best moment for me is seeing their dreams turn into reality. Dreams are not meant to stay in your head, choose the dreams you want, and get them out of your head. After many failures, and just as many successes, my story is only beginning. Let's connect and become part of each other's stories. I am blessed to know what it is like to be the odd one out from growing up bisexual and with a single mother. I also know how it is to be listened to and be invited to the table. My mission is to use these experiences to help people be heard and empower those who are most commonly forgotten.
