About Jonathan Wileman

I was a competitive swimmer for 16 years and recently began competitive cycling as a past time. I was a swimming teacher and had been for 9 years. I was also the head of the swimming academy at Sutton and Cheam swimming club, organising groups on multiple days, group promotions, customer and staff relations and communication. Within this role I also organised swimming trials, arranging trials according to the ability that parents describe within previous communications. In addition to this, I also update online membership lists, excel spreadsheet lists (recording age, groups and emergency contact details) and record payment history. This therefore includes contacting parents who may have not paid for their swimming lessons for a particular month. I am now an account manger at howden group I have completed an undergraduate degree at St Mary's university Twickenham with a first class in Sports Science. My time at university has increased my depth of knowledge in biomechanics, psychology, sociology and physiology. Furthermore an increase in understanding and fluidity of using Microsoft excel, analysing high frequency data condensing and averaging to produce clear graphs and also regularly using SPSS to analyse significance of data collected in research. I have also completed a masters degree in applied sport and exercise physiology at St Mary's University Twickenham in which I achieved a distinction. This has further deepened my knowledge and understanding of appropriate exercise tests and obtaining more advance relevant skills for the work place and SPSS techniques. It has also increase my experience working with sporting clients and using state of the art equipment and techniques to obtain valuable performance data. I am now involved with the administration of group risk policies on the SME team within Howden Group. My main responsibilities involve issuing and completing renewals, processing and advising on claims and identifying, advising and keeping track of any underwriting that arises.
