About Jonathan Wilson

I am a laparoscopic colorectal and general consultant surgeon. My NHS base is at the Whittington Hospital and University College London Hospital (Honorary Consultant), North London and I also practice privately at The London Clinic (Harley Street, central London), and OneWelbleck. My practice covers all general surgical (Groin pain; abdominal and groin hernias; gallbladder; appendicitis; abdominal pain) and colorectal pathologies (rectal bleeding; haemorrhoids; anal fissure; anal fistula; diverticular disease; changes in bowel habit; colon and rectal cancer diagnosis and surgery; colonoscopy and polypectomy; pilonidal disease). I was fortunate enough to be awarded funding for my PhD in colorectal tumorigenesis as a Medical Research Council/ Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Fellow, and continue with my interest in colorectal malignancy as the Clinician Lead for General and Colorectal surgery at the Whittington hospital. I am also the chairman of the London Clinic Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
