About Jonathan Wright

I work at the intersection of city strategy, policy research, and analytics to deliver economically sound and environmentally sustainable solutions for smart, sustainable, and liveable cities. I am drawn to complex problems and have cultivated a keen interest in the relationships between infrastructure and land use, economy and ecology, and people and systems. I believe in a people-centred approach to understanding communities, a data-driven approach to problem solving, and an iterative approach to crafting the best solutions. I have worked at the local and regional levels of the public sector and as a consultant for clients across the world. My background in civil engineering, economics, and analytics has provided a foundation for my work with city-scale and institutional master planning, infrastructure planning and design, strategic planning and scenario evaluation, housing and land use policy, spatial analysis and GIS, and microsimulation modelling and travel demand forecasting.
