As a software developer with over a decade of experience, I’ve journeyed from quality assurance to hands-on development—a path that has shaped my passion for technology and continuous learning. Working at INVIDI Technologies has been particularly rewarding; I’ve had the opportunity to engage in everything from bare metal development to creating globally deployed infrastructure using AWS and Google Cloud. Each project is not just a task but an exciting chance to innovate and grow. Throughout my time at INVIDI Technologies, I've engineered Java applications that have significantly decreased latency for users worldwide, and engineered C++ code that is deployed in millions of homes across the country. I've also lead the effort in implementing new version control procedures, which allowed us to transition smoothly into an agile cloud framework while minimizing post-release issues, and contributed heavily to the modernization of the overall architecture. One of my proudest moments was when I led the effort developing a new service deployed to AWS that increased revenue across multiple customers, while collaborating closely with product owners. This teamwork not only streamlined our processes but also prevented issues that come up when collaboration with key stakeholders is neglected. I also enjoy helping others learn and grow! I've spent a lot of time mentoring new hires through onboarding and pair programming—successfully reducing their ramp-up time by 50%. It's incredibly fulfilling to see others thrive and contribute effectively from the start! I believe that sharing knowledge is just as important as acquiring it, so I regularly present learning sessions for my team to foster a culture of collaboration.
