About Jonathan Yau

I am a student at Indiana University majoring in Accounting and Finance. I am planning to graduate with both a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Business Administration, through the 3/2 MBA program offered by the Kelley School of Business. After graduation, I intend to get a CPA license. Within my internship at NexTier Oilfield Solutions, I first experienced the different uses of data analysis in the workplace. This convinced me to try out a tax accounting position at DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. I found this experience both challenging and rewarding, placing my current interest on tax. I recently accepted a Spring 2025 tax internship at MMB CPAs and Advisors to gain experience in filing individual and corporate tax returns prior to the April 15th deadline. Outside of school, I like to give back to the community through various volunteering opportunities. In Indiana University Dance Marathon, I fundraise money to help make hospitalization more affordable for individuals at the Riley's Hospital for Children. Previously, I participated in a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program to help international students complete their tax returns.
