Passionate Educator | Primary School Teacher | Sports Coach & Community Development Dedicated and experienced primary school teacher with a strong background in both education and sports development. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher from England, specializing in teaching children aged 5-11. Currently, I am a Year 1 class tutor in Zaragoza, Spain, where I create engaging, adaptive, and student-centered lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. I use a variety of assessment and questioning strategies to ensure all students progress, while feeling supported and motivated. Teaching & Education Experience I have worked in both the UK and Spain, teaching across EYFS, KS1 & KS2. My experience spans diverse classroom environments, where I have developed skills in classroom management, curriculum adaptation, and inclusive education. I am passionate about fostering a supportive and positive learning environment that helps young learners develop both academically and personally. Sports Coaching & Community Engagement Beyond the classroom, I have been actively involved in sports coaching and community development. Recently I achieved the IUSCA Level 1 certification in Strength and Conditioning. In the past I have served as Head Coach for the University of Derby Women’s FC, leading training sessions, mentoring athletes, and promoting women’s football. Additionally, I have worked on community sports development initiatives in South Yorkshire, using sport as a tool for inclusion, teamwork, and personal growth. My Teaching Philosophy I believe that education should be engaging, inclusive, and empowering. Whether in the classroom or on the field, my goal is to inspire confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset in my students. Every day brings new challenges, but nothing is more rewarding than seeing the progress and joy on my students’ faces.
