The Apelago Research Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Company, provides comprehensive services supporting mental health outcomes research. We offer expertise garnered from over 20 years of principal investigator experience in directing numerous multi-million dollar research projects. Our previous and current research projects include extensive funding from: Office of Research and Development, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs; The Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Centers/Centers of Excellence, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs; The National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Health; Rehabilitation Services Administration, U.S. Department of Education; The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute; and U.S. Department of Labor. We offer extensive experience in conducting mental health research focused on, but not limited to: anxiety and depressive disorders, medication and treatment adherence, treatment engagement, self-determination, evidence-based practices, Veteran-to-Veteran services, quality of life, psychiatric rehabilitation, education, employment, stigma/discrimination, physical health, and professional development. We offer services in: • providing research personnel needs; • developing and submitting grant proposals; • obtaining and maintaining institutional review board approvals; • collecting data sets; • ensuring data set security requirements; • recommending and implementing methodological and statistical systems; • maintaining federal funding agency requirements; • overseeing budgetary requirements; and • disseminating research findings.
