About Jonathon Lopez

I am interested in utilizing my engineering experiences and data analytics skills to unlock innovation in Semiconductor Manufacturing. Currently, I am working as a Process Engineer in the Semiconductor Industry. At WaferTech, I was charged with planning, executing, and evaluating highly complicated projects designed to improve customer product quality, reliability, and yield without unnecessary risk to production. Through hands-on project experience I have learned risk management, in-depth data analysis techniques to quantify effects of changes using statistical methods, and data visualization techniques to clearly convey findings. In my roles, I have further honed my interpersonal communication skills in a collaborative teams working to complete defect reduction and process optimization projects in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuously shifting priorities. My unique contributions to the Etch Process department have been generating automated reports to analyze process data for a faster understanding of equipment performance and creating complex mathematical models of process outputs from various process inputs using Data Mining. In order to accomplish the automated reports and data mined mathematical models, I have learned SAS EG/JMP scripting, refined my data analysis skills, fine tuned my data visualizations, and gained software troubleshooting experience.
