Joined the US Navy October 20th, 2014. Rotated to Naval Submarine Station, Groton CT in December 2014. Rotated to Naval Station Great Lakes in April 2015, graduated from Machinist Mate "A" School in May 2015. Rotated to USS Arlington (LPD-24), out of Naval Station Norfolk, VA. Deployed from October 2015-May 2016. May 2016-Dec 2018, underwent training cycle and various ship certifications. Deployed Dec 2018-Jul 2019, received Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for meritorious service during USS Arlington deployment. Jul 2019-Jul 2020, underwent ship repair cycle and partial training cycle. Received 2nd Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for meritorious service onboard USS Arlington from June 2015-July 2020. Rotated to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in August 2020. Served as the Leading Petty Officer for Physical Security as well as the Command Duty Office. Led the watch standing, transportation, and daily check ups on 273 foreign patients from Aug 2021-Dec 2021. Received Joint Service Achievement Medal for meritorious achievements during the time period of the foreign patients. Still serving at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as of August 2022.
