About Jonathon Priestley

As an Electrical Engineering student, it's my passion to work with people and build connections with others, to innovate the world around me. I enjoy a good challenge and wish to expand myself with new skills and opportunities that may present themselves. I hope to drive myself to continuously grow in order to become a better worker and employee in every environment I am placed in. I work diligently, so as to support and uphold not only my company but also its clients and cooperators. It's my passion to help others and work with them in a cooperative, encouraging way in order to achieve great things together. I believe teamwork and leadership are fundamental aspects of life and I hope to translate my skills into a career by supporting the ever growing need for electricity and its many uses in our forever changing world. Week to week I volunteer at my local Church, running a kids club there, as well volunteering at my university as the treasurer of the USYD Spikeball Society. When not volunteering, I am working at Sydney University as a casual academic, running tutorial and lab classes for students to encourage and facilitate their learning. For a number of years, I have also worked as a private tutor for high school students, where I'm either helping them work through and learn the techniques to solve mathematics problems, or teaching students the guitar.
