Goal: To utilize and expand my current skill set in the areas of computer science and information technology. I am currently in my senior year of the computer science program at the University of Utah. The focus of my studies has been in parallel computing and artificial intelligence, with supplementary work in web software and networking. Skills: Software:(proficient) C, C++(familiar) C#.NET Framework, CUDA, Java, Ruby, Javascript, Python, HTML/CSS, SQL, Matlab Professional: Leadership and management skills developed through project management and superintendent experience. Technical writing skills developed both academically and professionally, with writing examples available upon request. Proficiency in numerous software applications including, but not limited to Visual Studio, Eclipse, the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Matlab. Comfortable using Linux with Bash and Tcsh shells. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development cycles, and versioning control using Git. Experience parallelizing neural networks, and utilizing GPUs for parallelization using CUDA. Image processing and feature analysis experience in Matlab. Proficiency in database design, creation, and deployment.
