About Jonette Ayubi

With over two decades spanning both the education and creative sectors, my journey has been shaped by diverse experiences. As the spouse of a retired Navy pilot and the daughter of a TV news director/journalist, I've embraced life's constant change, calling nine states across the US and Japan home. From teaching conversational English to Japanese teenagers to facilitating discussions about perspective with a diverse group of Oklahoma middle school students, I've learned that the magic lies in intentionally creating genuine connections, tuning into individual needs, and collaborating with others in order to create successful outcomes. I've worked with diverse groups of all ages, and I'm passionate about creating and facilitating meaningful interactive lessons. Throughout my path, which has included serving military families as a Navy Ombudsman, working with international exchange students, and creating training videos for school staff and students, I've cultivated invaluable transferable skills. I've recently moved back permanently to beautiful San Diego; I'm excited to bring my range of talents and enthusiasm to a purpose-driven professional setting.
