About Jongdae Choi

I have currently served in the Army as a brigade property book associate since September 2018. My primary tasks are to create and review property books for 39-line units, provide service and support of brigade’s property action. Also, I have managed email and call inquiries. My job also requires abilities to research and analyze army regulations and memorandums upon request by the property book officer. I also have experience in analyzing logistic data and supporting brigade supply actions in a combat environment. Lastly, I solely protect and maintain six-year-old sensitive documents. I have earned the Army Commendation Award in 2021 and am a distinguished soldier by the division commander for the Road-to-Zero logistics mission in the same year. I started going to college in 2012 when I first came to the U.S. I spent four years in Austin Community College before I was shipped to the army basic training. I had maintained my GPA, 3.59 while I had a full-time job at a restaurant. Then, I transferred from ACC to the University of Washington at Tacoma majoring in accounting. And I expect to graduate in March 2023 with an above 3.6 GPA. I worked at different restaurants before joining the army. The restaurants where I worked were famous and busy with a limited staff. This experience is invaluable to me to build my work ethic and core values, professionalism, interpersonal skills, how to multitask, and how to achieve goals under pressure even if it would seem that it's not a professional job. I have spent ten years building my foundation in the U.S. I have had a firm will that I will accomplish my goals without cutting corners. The army confirms by giving me awards that the values and ethics that I have are outstanding and I want to test myself in the area that I have desperately hoped to be for a decade.
