About Jonna Virtanen

My name is Jonna. and I am a practical nurse. I graduated at the end of June 2020. Now, I am unemployed. I am oriented taking care of, elderly people, with dementia. I enjoyed my two years in school, as well our Tuesdays at school, when it was possible to keep Bingo game, which was popular, to all participants, at an elderly care home. I like outdoor activities, such as walk with the dwellers, and karaoke. I also liked doing manicure, to the dwellers, as well preparing a dweller to see a family member, or a friend, by doing hairstyle appropriate to the dwellers needs. I would like to work, at a care home, with other nurse´s and practical nurse´s, and with dwellers. I am also aware about the critical situation, at a home care, whereas people is needed, and the work is more independent, as a practical nurse´s point of view. Working in a team, might be better, to start with. I have been working in a field, during education, approximately 8 months. 2 months with children, at a kindergarten / nursery school. I worked at the elderly care home, twice two months, and two months working, with people with a disability. My graduation, was right after this last working period, with people with disability. I respect a good team work, and good communication skills. I worked at a professional kitchen two years, before I started to study, to become a practical nurse. I made salad´s and bread, but mainly doing dishes, as working situations fluctuated every day. I have also worked at a library one month, and a everyday market for three months, before working at kitchen. I have also studied marketing and business economics, at a vocational school but I did not went to get a degree. I am interest to get a work, as a practical nurse, and I am hopeful, that this pandemic, should be soon over. Thank You for reading this. Have a nice day!
