About Jonne Kanerva

I've been a software developer for the past 7 years, half of which in the financial sector. For the most of my career I've worked primarily with React and on frontend in general. In addition I've enjoyed the opportunity of working as a Scrum Master in many of my teams and overall I try to spend a lot of my time making other people productive. I have a BSc in Computer Science and a BBA, which complement each other nicely as my way of working is fairly holistic. I try my best to completely understand the product my team is building and providing support and expertise during the whole development cycle. This includes a lot of what happens between understanding the initial customer need and deploying the finished solution. I thoroughly enjoy a DevOps approach when developing software. Things I regularly work with: React, TypeScript, Node, Redux, MobX, Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices Other things I can do: Java, Spring, SQL Databases, Docker Things I'm currently trying to get better at: Leadership Skills, Product Development, Facilitating hybrid work, Data-driven Decision Making, JIRA usage, a11y. Soft stuff: I enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, cooking and video games.
