About Jonny Prest

We are at an important time in history. Now more than ever, as we approach a tipping point of a climate catastrophe, the decisions we make - as individuals and as businesses - have an impact on our planet and those who inhabit it. I relentlessly pursue a belief and vision that this can and will be reversed. To get to Net Zero we need creativity. Science and research must be hyper-connected and deliver stories that are more thoughtful and constructive. Conversations about climate change and environmental wellbeing are often unnecessarily polarised and clouded by conflicting information and confusing stories. By understanding and empathising with our audiences, we can create campaigns and content that have a better chance of motivating positive behaviour change. My role as a creative campaigns and communications strategist is to consistently communicate the purpose of science and research to its stakeholders with a dance between strategy, identity, design and communications. From ideation to delivery to tracking and analysis, I remodel organisational communications to leverage skills and resources for the protection of our planet and its people. Throughout my experience, I have- Worked in multiple disciplines in multiple industries such as clean energy, plastic pollution, sustainable food systems, space tech, recycling, food waste and regenerative agriculture - Acquired a wide set of skills within brand building, marketing, design and strategic thinking - Supported dozens of leadership teams to create a vision for change and strategised ways to mobilise teams towards progress and change, using the disciplines of brand building, identity design and strategic communications - Successfully produced environmental and planetary wellbeing projects and campaigns for UK-based and international clients, making a positive impact and meaningful change - Won coveted industry awards for digital marketing campaigns, recognised as a leader in my field - Grown an international family of artists, designers, animators and producers - Taken an embryonic business idea from bedroom to boardroom - Written, developed and delivered university modules and degrees
