About Jonvier Aydin

English opens doors—and for over 20 years, I’ve been helping students walk through them.” I’m a passionate and experienced English language educator with over 20 years of teaching experience, including 8 years overseas, across universities, language institutes, and adult education settings. I specialise in ELICOS, IELTS preparation, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), as well as ESL, EFL, and EAL, supporting learners from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. In addition to teaching, I have experience supervising TESOL trainees during their teaching internships, providing mentoring, feedback, and practical classroom support to help them apply their knowledge and grow in confidence. My approach is practical and adaptable. While I don’t strictly follow a student-centred model, I use a variety of methods tailored to different learning preferences, ensuring students are engaged, supported, and progressing steadily. I aim to provide a strong foundation in English for academic, professional, and everyday use. I believe learning should be engaging, empowering, and enjoyable, and I create inclusive lessons that promote confidence and participation.
