About Joonas Ailunka

I am currently working as Product Owner in loan lifecycle management area in OP Financial Group. My work consist of loan modifications including severity levels (stages), Financial Difficulties and Unlikely to Pay aspects in OP Groupwide solutions. Alongside these areas goes automated decision making within loan modifications. I am also familiar with regulation side of these aspects. Before my current position I worked over a decade in a branch side. I led personal customer finance as Finance Director. I was also a member of board of directors at local OP Koti realestate agency. I learned a lot during those years and feel I can use that knowledge and experience in my current job. I got a lot of leading competence and experience. I am also active in the Finnish army reserves. I have served over a year for Finnish army. I participate training camps nearly every year. My current rank is First Lieutenant. Academic world opened up for me shortly when I worked in a research project at UEF (University of Eastern Finland). Doctoral studies might someday be something I want to do. I always want to learn more and try to get a bit better everyday.
