About Joost Adriaans
I started my career at K&N after obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering at HTS-Autotechniek (Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen) in Arnhem, The Netherlands in 2004. My experience as an intern at K&N in Eindhoven, The Netherlands in 2003 and later on in 2004 at the world headquarters in Riverside, CA USA provided opportunities to start my first job as a Design Engineer. Close to two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, both in Europe and the United States, has taught me a lot about product development processes, product strategies and manufacturing. Technological innovation evolves at a rapid pace and the automotive industry contributes to, and benefits from this every day. I recently made the jump to lead our HVAC and industrial filter department. K&N now provides sustainable air filter product solutions for data centers,(large) industrial infrastructure, and residential HVAC applications. Very different from automotive, but nonetheless an extremely innovative and ever-evolving industry! What excites me most is constantly learning about new technologies, and building innovative products that truly disrupt industries.
