Background
About Joost Biesheuvel
I'm a composer-turned-director with a natural feel for music and rhythm. My debut short ‘Cats and Dogs’ received 10+ awards and three Young Director Awards at Cannes Lions, including titles for best music (which I composed myself). In my work, I love to explore and break the boundaries between film, music and poetry. Outside of work, I enjoy all things nature, outdoor and watersports. You'll find me kitesurfing the North Sea anyday the wind blows. Campaigns: Tele2 / Grolsch / KLM / Renault / Delta / Amsterdam Dance Event / Canon / Ministry of Defense Full portfolio: joostbiesheuvel.com Represented by StudioStudio (Amsterdam), Curatefilms (London) and Go East (Eastern Europe + Asia)
