I'm Joost, a highly motivated student, soon to be in the 4th year of my IT degree at the HZ University of Applied Sciences with a specific focus on software engineering. Throughout my journey, I have acquired a versatile set of skills that enables me to thrive in various development situations. Rather than specializing in a specific topic, my degree program has provided me with a broad range of knowledge and abilities. This foundation gives me the adaptability and agility required to quickly learn and excel in many different situations, including your company!During my studies, I had the opportunity to apply my skills in a professional setting through an internship at Omoda. There, I worked to contribute to the development of a new feature set for the Thinkwise platform. My ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies proved invaluable as I started work on functionalities that were yet to be realized by the Thinkwise team. This experience at Omoda showcased my capacity to adapt and deliver robust solutions, despite having no prior experience with the toolset.Beyond my technical expertise, I have a creative spirit that goes beyond the realm of IT. Engaging in photography and music in my free time, I use my imaginative thinking and problem-solving abilities. This creative mindset allows me to approach software challenges from unique perspectives, delivering innovative and user-centric solutions. Additionally, my year abroad in Madrid broadened my worldview and enhanced my intercultural communication skills, making me an effective collaborator within any team.
