Goal: making the Engels Group less and less dependent on my personal presence. This by investing trust in my MT and securing my experience for the future. Engels should grow further as an independent company. Engels Group is now a mid-sized European player on the field of pallets, containers and boxes for storage, multi-use packaging, waste separating and collection. With 5 companies outside Holland and a creative market approach. Fully in the process of switching from trade to production where Engels' own experience is not to be shared with suppliers. Experience: on the job since 1985, started with 2 people, now (2025) over 160 in 6 countries, with a consolidated turnover of € Some history: 2008 Startup of our German underground waste bin production facility. We gained market leadership in the French Alps with our half underground wastebins. In 2013 Engels HLC was integrated in Engels Logistiek BV and ceased being a separate entity. 2011 takeover of Norah Plastics NV Belgium bringing synergy and adding revenue of and crisisresistant profits.(Norah specialises in food related bins and pallet/palletboxes. People will go on eating.) 2015/16 investment in a Belgian distribution center for the group, square meter coveredwarehouse, 2500 open air storage, 2400+ solar panels 2020 New warehouse, square meter in Eindhoven Holland and new group Headquarters. Personal focus at the moment: Overseeing the cooperation within Engels group, sharing thoughts on strategy. Trying to stay as fit as possible, through power training and horse riding. Bringing back my percentage of ownership in the group (estate planning)
