About Joost Koevoets

After several years in a commercial role, I realized that it didn’t give me the energy I needed. A 16-month adventure abroad helped me discover who I am and which values I want to pursue in my work. After an extensive search and 65 inspiring conversations, it became clear: education was my next step! For the past 4.5 years, I have worked in this field with great enthusiasm, motivating, inspiring, and guiding (young) people in their search for what gives them energy. I soon became involved in educational innovations, where I could fully apply my creativity, sensitivity, and entrepreneurial spirit. The combination of innovation and coaching made me look forward to work almost every single day. But the call for adventure never faded. After a six-month sabbatical in East Africa, an incredible opportunity came my way: contributing as a project manager to the development of a new lodge in a national park in Uganda. Many of my past experiences come together in this role, but in a completely different setting. A new adventure that I’m diving into with full energy!
