About Jordan D.

I am a mental health clinician that provides person-centered support and treatment to adults with severe mental illness in a residential setting. In addition to my psychology background, I have experience working with developmentally disabled, intellectually disabled, and mentally ill population which I earned at both Colonial Behavioral Health and Gateway Homes Inc. I act as a direct service provider to individuals in the residential program where I provide them with necessary support and mental health skill building. I have developed skills in mental health management, de-escalation, medication management, and mental illness with my time in this field. I am currently working in hopes to eventually be accepted to a doctoral program where I can further develop my passion for Forensic Psychology. My career goal is to graduate with a PsyD or PhD from an accredited university and to work as a full-time forensic psychologist in either a correctional or state facility.
