About Jordan Evens

I am a Certified Medical Technologist, MT(AAB), working in the Microbiology Lab at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. I am a 2020 graduate of Furman University (Greenville,SC) where I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology with a focus in Biomedical Science. I also was a member of Furman Women’s Soccer Team (D1-Southern Conference) for the 4 years I attended. Recently I have completed the NAACLS-MLT Program at Southwestern College in Belleville, IL. Through the completion of this program I was able to gain my ASCP Certification and extensive experience in the sector of laboratory medicine. For my next steps, I am looking to further promote the clinical laboratory science career field, while working to build better avenues of communication and trust between the laboratory and other vital healthcare areas.
