Committed to being a hard-working change catalyst and resilient leader, I have devoted my life to social service. As a proud officer in the United States Army, I have devoted my life to serve the people of the United States. As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, I pledge my time to first of all, serve all. As an inner-city high school science teacher, I vow to educate and empower students in my native city. As a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (N.A.A.C.P.), I fight to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. With these overarching life experiences and those to come, my chief goal is to invoke positive and effective change for all humanity.
