I am a strategic and innovative professional with 14+ years of experience that combines solid business background, strong leadership talent, and a proven history of executing on business goals. I began my career in a sales and logistics position, but quickly progressed to leading the company’s fertilizer division, where we achieved sales records for multiple product lines. This experience equipped me with profound knowledge and practical skills in building effective strategies that result in new market opportunities and business growth. As my grandparents began to age, I saw their struggle navigating the complexities of the healthcare system. This created a passion for helping improve people’s wellness that still drives me today. Ultimately that passion led me to step away from the leadership position I held to pursue a Master of Healthcare Administration. That journey made me even more enthusiastic about managing the health of populations and healthcare payment innovation. During my time at tOSU, I began making an impact by working at Humana, a leading managed care company, while also assisting with multiple pro bono projects (Columbus Department of Health and Wexner Medical Center). Upon graduation, I entered management consulting. Utilizing my leadership skills, entrepreneurial mind, and big-picture thinking, I was able to quickly make a positive impact for clients, while positively impacting the lives of members- Saved a client $5.3M annually by remediating current contracts and expanding to additional providers - Developed rate/language assessment criteria for 78 managed care contracts accounting for $38M+ in revenue - Led network team of 15+ resources to design and develop CMS compliant network for 46 counties My expertise encompasses the aspects of developing a strategy to meet various business goals and capture new market opportunities. Further, I am a good listener and effective communicator, and these skills help me build relationships with clients, providers, management, teams, and other stakeholders, as well as forge partnerships across multiple organizational levels to ensure successful execution of business plans.
