From Marketing and Communications Officer to Partnerships Manager at Katherine High School in the Northern Territory, I have been instrumental in rebranding the school and developing consistent and effective communication while developing community partnerships and programs with Traditional Owners, and external stakeholders. With a love for producing videos that matter, creating content that cuts through the noise and delivering authentic narratives that resonate with any community, I have built a successful career in the media and marketing industry. My career started in television newsrooms at 9 News and WIN News across Queensland, where I produced and reported on meaningful stories about people from all walks of life on a wide range of topics, including natural disasters and political upheavals. As the Chief of Staff and Senior Reporter, I managed day-to-day operations in a fast-paced news environment, consistently delivering accurate and engaging content to my audiences. My news background ensures that I am adaptable and versatile, comfortably transitioning from interviewing farmers about their crops to quizzing the Prime Minister on the federal budget. I have further developed my communication skills at Fresh PR & Marketing, where I assisted with event management of community homeless events and virtual staff conferences, helped deliver community grants programs, and created emotive stories for clients that had a real impact. Storytelling is what I do best, whether it's through video, social media posts, blogs, vlogs, media releases, podcasts, or web content. Combining my skillset as a reporter and producer with my innate ability to genuinely connect with people and put them at ease, I can deliver authentic content and engage with any audience.
