About Jordan Moore

Core to leadership is the ability to relate to people—to empathize, understand, inspire, and motivate.” ― Robert M. Gates, A Passion for Leadership: Lessons on Change and Reform from Fifty Years of Public Service. That is a quote I truly appreciate by a leader Secretary Robert M. Gates. To me the most important position I can be is a leader. This is a position I don’t take likely, in the book: The World's Most Powerful Leadership Principle by James C. Hunter; he says “Leadership is getting people to commit to the mission, to take the hill, to be all they can be.” That is something I truly believe in. Doing what’s right even with no one looking is something I try to do in everything I do no matter how small. I mention leadership because this is one quality I strive to be the best at, in every position or athletic team I have ever done I quickly became one to lead and help others. I never did it for the power or prestige, I did it because I love being the one others can look to for help, but also someone they can give ideas to and know that they’re being heard and appreciated.
