About Jordan Nelson

Jordan Nelson is a 3rd-year medical student at The University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Throughout his training, he has been involved in multiple organizations as a class representative, pediatrics interest group co-president, Knights Ambassador, and leader in the college's Arts in Medicine group. Additionally, he has conducted and published research on variation in antibiotic prescribing and other clinical behaviors among primary care pediatricians. He plans to pursue residency training in family medicine beginning in 2023. When not studying medicine or spending time with his family, Jordan runs the successful "Fayze Reviews" YouTube channel that focuses on technology unboxing and review videos of products ranging from pro audio and lighting to podcast equipment and smart home devices. The channel has passed subscribers and more than total views with no signs of slowing. Previously, he was the owner of SLC Mobile DJ, a premier entertainment and lighting company located in Salt Lake City, UT. With hundreds of events and over 10 years of experience in his toolbox, Jordan specialized in creating unforgettable moments at weddings, school dances, corporate functions, private parties, and more. He has also authored two books on lighting for mobile DJs, written dozens of online articles for mobile entertainers, and spoken at local industry meetings. Outside of his work and business interests, he refers to himself as a "serial hobbyist" and is passionate about playing the piano and drums, collecting vinyl records and sneakers, mountain biking, and a multitude of other hobbies.
