About Jordan Potts

As an Engineer in the Metal Fabrication/Manufacturing Industry, I see the products through the entire manufacturing process. I 3D-model our customer's parts and assemblies using CAD Software, and create Blueprints conforming to customer constraints. I create laser DXF files for our Industrial CO2 laser, create blueprints including Sheet Metal Forming Requirements, as well as Welding Symbols and Metal Finish requirements. I have an experienced background in Metal Fabrication, giving me in-depth knowledge on how products are built, and I alter designs according to what's possible with current manufacturing equipment. I have AWS Welding Certifications in Mild, Stainless, and Aluminum Processes (MIG and TIG), including a WI Structural Certification. I've participated and led Corrective Action processes in accordance with ISO processes, encouraging a work environment emphasizing continuous improvement. I've also used JobBOSS Workflow Software extensively, utilizing its Job and Quote creation and editing tools. I've communicated with customers directly to create quality products and improve company relations and opportunities. I have experience in every step of the fabrication process, thrive while working with others, and can contribute vastly to any manufacturing opportunity.
