About Jordan Riggs

I am a 2022 Graduate from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, English Language Arts! I am passionate about world history, literature, and knowledge; furthermore, I am particularly passionate about the maintenance & preservation of those subjects. Fontbonne University helped me to lay a foundation on harnessing that passion and pursuing a path that would only deepen my love for my chosen content areas in Education and Library & Information Science. With my professors and supervisors, I feel as if I’ve had so many great opportunities to lead me to where I am today. I thrive in both team-oriented and independent settings as an educator, librarian, and a former lab associate at BJC, with a strong history of efficient performance in customer service, classroom management, record keeping, and data entry. Through these positions, I’ve learned so much about the importance of outstanding work ethic and finding one’s sense of dignity in any occupational and educational setting. My flexibility & dedication to my position(s), and budding curiosity help to cultivate my pride and dignity that goes into my strong work ethic. I am driven to have the best environment and results for all my students, patrons, colleagues, and for myself. I hold myself to the standard of being a hard-working individual who facilitates a positive, open-minded working/learning environment - one with continuous room for growth. Overall, my post-secondary education and my work experience give me skills and a personality that are a fantastic combination thus contributing to the enrichment of any environment with curiosity, positivity, flexibility, and excellence.
