About Jordan Schneider

I am a structural engineer with a penchant for projects that are technically challenging, intellectually novel and socially significant. I am driven by an unyielding desire to discover new solutions to new and old problems alike, and I love to solve the problems that others pass over. I hate to lose, and hate more to quit. I believe that great solutions can only come through an alignment of goals, and I have only one level of care: full and absolute. I turn your problems into our problems, and then I try my darnedest to solve them for the both of us. I try to make an impact on an ever-expanding array of projects, and I aim to craft my experience – or as I call it, my “toolbox” – to be as broad as possible. I am fortunate to have worked at a variety of scales and in every major material, in addition to consulting on the artistic and business endeavors of my friends. I would love for you to share your project with me, and I am confident I can add value to it. Cultivating a stronger design community is important to me. In my spare hours, I try to make my contribution in the classroom, where I host at least one college/university design course at any given time. There is no better way to learn something than to battle-test it through teaching, and there is nothing more gratifying than seeing all of the beautiful plants that grow from a few planted seeds. In summary: I love problems, care deeply about their solutions, and will forever be trying to chart a more complete map of this pursuit. I hope you’ll stay tuned.
