About Jordan Simons

Jordan is a Chartered Accountant and financial accounting professional with over 3 years of experience at KPMG in the Audit and Assurance division servicing a wide range of clients varying in size, industry, and complexity. He also holds experience in commercial accounting. In professional environments, Jordan favours building and maintaining client relationships through an approachable attitude and the provision of sound accounting advice. Client and Customer relationship management is both an important skill of Jordan's and one he awaits exercising in future opportunities. Jordan has a demonstrated ability to unpack and apply Accounting standards to any business' unusual financial transactions, experience with period-end reconciliation processes, and confidence managing general ledgers in the Xero accounting system. After spending nearly 4 years as a full-time Financial Accountant, Jordan is enrolled to study a Certificate in Horticulture at TAFE NSW starting Feb 2024. This transition enables Jordan to become a better steward of the world through caring for and cultivating plants and their ecosystems. He is eager to discover the employment opportunities that blend this transition with his established professional experience and is currently seeking part-time employment in accounting. Jordan completed the 2023 Ultra-Trail Kosciusko 50km race and has personal aspirations of longer trail runs in the future.
