About Jordan Sisson

I caught the writing bug early. I have loved a good story for as long as I can remember. I devour books, movies, podcasts, series, short stories, and articles almost as quickly as I inhale chocolate (if you’ve witnessed me eat a bar of chocolate, you’d know that this is no mean feat). The impact of a good story cannot be underestimated. When content can successfully illustrate an idea or topic, influence an opinion, or make an audience feel something – it’s powerful. Good writing makes moves – it can drive people to think differently, re-evaluate their beliefs or even take action - en masse! It seems fitting then that I fed my fascination with content into my professional life. Now a skilled content and marketing professional with five years of experience, I’ve worked in digital advertising, promotions, events, and campaigns for agencies, publishers and fintech businesses. Working with some very different companies over the years has been an education and made me a better writer. The ability to quickly learn about and understand an issue and then apply those learnings to every new role, project and initiative is one of greatest strengths. I'm confident working on a diverse range of projects and driving tangible business results - at pace and at scale. When I’m not working in drumming up messaging maps or working on assets for a new campaign, I’m improving my public speaking and presentation skills in theatre classes, learning how to be a semi-decent guitar player (still not there yet), keeping my heart rate up at the gym or experimenting with pasta recipes in the kitchen.
