Currently working at Severn Trent as a water distribution operative. This involves being responsible for Severn Trents underground fresh water network being involved with maintaining, upgrading, fixing and monitoring fresh water mains. In my previous job i served 7 years in the Royal Navy being based on the aircraft carrier HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH, working as a Leading Airman Aircraft Handler. This involved marshalling and directing live jets and helicopters around the flight deck, as well as overseeing and moving cold aicraft around the deck and hangar. The aircraft I was in charge of could've been sometimes in the region of up to £100 million. The second part of my job was working at a Royal Navy Airstation working from the fire station as part of a 5-man crash fire rescue team. I was the fire truck driver on my crew, maintaining and making sure the fire truck is all in order and driving it to any incidents. I did this until I got promoted to a Leading Airman in which I then got trained and become a Crew manager, overseeing and taking care of the crew whilst under the direction of the watch manager. I had served 7 years in the Royal Navy by the time i left in October 2022 and throughout this career, I have had various deployments, including the 2021 8-month global deployment of HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH. I have also gained a lot of skills and different qualifications as well as accomplished achievements the average person wouldn't have. Some of the beneficial qualifications I have gained are ILM level 4 in Leadership and Management/ HGV Class 2 / telescopic handler / counter balance forklift and valuable life skills that will last me a life time.
