As a Utility Engineer at Adams Cable Service, I coordinate the relocation of private and public utility systems, review design plans and utility conflict tables, and assist with design activities. I also perform quality checks on recently completed installations, manage supply of equipment and regulations, and provide customers with financial quotes. I have over 2.5 years of experience in this role. Before accepting the position of Utility Engineer, I worked as a Line Crewman for the same company, where I became proficient in building new and replacing copper core and fiber optics cable assemblies. I also managed work on ground level, analyzed job sites and safety measures, installed outlets and network cables, and communicated with customers to achieve desired results. Prior to that, I served in the United States Navy for four years, working as a Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) and receiving multiple awards for exceptional performance and commitment to excellence.
