Background
About Jordan Williams
I am a current MFA Candidate in Poetry at UNCG Greensboro. In 2020 I received my B.A. in English with concentrations in Literature and Creative Writing, with minors in Business Administration and Women's, Genders, and Sexuality Studies from Elon University. In addition to pursuing my Master's, I also work as a University Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching two sections of ENG 101 where I have the amazing opportunity to teach writing and composition to undergraduate students. Outside of my time spent teaching I also work at College Advisor, a company that supports high school students through the college application process. Over the course of my professional career I have served as a Resident Assistant, a Tour Guide, an elementary creative writing teacher, and social media content creator. My love of people runs as deep as my love and passion for the page. As I look for a job post-graduation, I am pursuing a career as a teacher or educator in the world of higher education- anything that will combine my passion for working with people with my love of English.
